Hello,
I read many related posts without a working solution for me.
I have 2 stations in 2 seperate places that are being used for
development.
(VS.NET2003 VB.NET aspx web site on a remote hosting service.
WinServer2003. FPSE.)
On one of them(OS: XP pro) the build process(CTL+SHFT+B) works OK.
On the other(OS: WinServer2003), it gives me the error bellow:

In VB, we have windows control item "MainMenu", do we have this item in the
ASP.Net C# web form? Or how could we make it?
By the way, how about the ASP.Net 2005?

This request might belong in a "SQL"-related newsgroup, but it's such
a pain using Agent to subscribe to a new group (and download its
50,000 messages!) just to ask one question.
So, since it deals with an ASP.NET app, I thought I'd ask here.

I am using Web Data Adminstrator, which I downloaded recently from the
Microsoft site. I get an error when I create tables or columns:

I have IIS 6 on a Windows 2003 box running with FP 2002 Extensions,
which are enabled.
I am trying to open an existing website called CrystalASP, which has
ASP files in it, but I'm trying to use an ASP.NET webform.
When I open up VS.NET 2005 and try to open the website up, it says
there is no web named "/CrystalASP" and won't go any further.
I'm trying to create some ASP.NET webforms on our intranet server and

I want to add some shopping pages to my site. I'd lilke to use the easiest
things possible, thought I am a PHP developer.
What's the easiest way to add a "web store" using Amazon web services or a
drop in availabel through someone.
I'm surprised it has not been written about in the Macromedia's web site.

Hi All,
I've encountered times when VS 2003 won't connect using Front Page
Server Extensions in some cases.
Case:
PC1 has VS. Creates a web project on machine IIS1. Seems to save an
..sln and a .suo locally on PC1 with the vbproj etc.. on IIS1.
Connection mode is Frontpage Server Extensions. Repeatedly close and

A few months ago I posted a question about using a file on my hard
drive to perform cross-frame scripting and pull data from a server on
my company's intranet. I eventually got this working using an HTA file
and Internet Explorer.
Now I'm tackling a similar issue, but really need to keep the IE menus,
navigation buttons, etc. this time around. Assuming a solution exists,
I'm guessing it involves using the IE6 SP2 "Mark of the Web"...

What I am trying to do is grab a little snippet of data from a remote
page based on user input in a form. Take a look at this page:
http://www.qrz.com/kb2gsd
What I want to do is: when a user types the call sign (in this case,
KB2GSD) into a form field, I want to execute an XPath query (or somehow
otherwise process the contents of the page)
to automatically complete the Name, Location, etc. fields in my "local"
page from a "remote" web...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
