Hi everybody,
I am trying to find a way to export automatically an entire database schema
into an .xsd
A graphical way is to drag & drop the tables from Server Connection into an
empty .xsd file.
My problem is that the xsd does not include info concerning the
relationships between database tables.
Is there an automated way to retrieve programmatically the entire db schema
into a single xsd file?

We are trying to develop an Engineering application using PHP,
Javascript with Informix as the back-end.
Is it possible to retrieve data using Javascript but by accessing the
Database. Say somebody enters part_no, than using Javascript is it
possible to connect to the part master and retrieve the division and
desc information?
I am not allowed to use the PHP because this will require the user to
insert the part number on the first...

Greetings gents. I'm a Railser working on a django app that needs to do
some scraping to gather its data.
I need to programatically access a site that requires a username and
password. Once I post to the login.php page, there seems to be a
redirect and it seems that the site is using a session (perhaps a
cookie) to determine whether the user is logged in. So I need to log in
and then have cookies and or sessions maintained as I access...

I am working on a script that will retrieve process info from a Linux, a Windows, a Suse and a Solaris hosts.
I run this script from a RedHat 2.6 machine. The first problem I have is how to get process info from a Windows XP host. There are only two ways to do it:
- directly execute a script from the RedHat machine, get the process info remotely
- telnet to the WinXP host and get process info locally then return back a temp file with all...

Hi All,
Has anyone got any ideas on how to retrieve mobile phone info from a phone
that connects to my web site, I want to use that data as part of logon
authentication, for example:
<?php
$user_agent = $_SERVER;
?>
The info from your mobile is <?php echo($user_agent ); ?>

Hi guys,
Using C# I have a class with a number of public properties and a public
method.
The idea is to call the method (externally), selecting one of those
properties. Do some work with the property, and then return a value.
Something like this:
public string MyMethod(MyClass.MyProperties selectedProperty)

I have a C# logging assembly with a static constructor and methods that is
called from another C# Assembly that is used as a COM interface for a VB6
Application. Ideally I need to build a file name based on the name of the
VB6 application. A second choice would be a file name based on the # COM
interface assembly. I have tried calling Assembly.GetCallingAssembly() but
this fails when I use the VB6 client. Is there a way to get this...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
