JAI Large Image Disappears

CDB
Hello I was running the Image Browser example (from the JAI book
by Lawrence Rodrigues) with a very large image, specifically one of the
size 12,000 x 6,000 pixels, and the image does not render inside the
view port when using the original size display mode, the image appears
to be loaded in memory, and the application appears to be interacting.
When I use scaled or to-fit display mode everything shows inside the
view port. Do you know what flags I can set to get that image back in
the window?

Does anyone read or reply in this forum?

Absolutely. It's probably just that nobody knew the answer to your
question.

This is a wild guess because your image seems to be too small for this to
be a problem, but I seem to remember that there was a limitation of 2^15
(32768) maximum image width or height. If something internally scaled your
image by a factor of three, you might run up against that.

I notice that I can display a GIF image in the central area of a simple menu-bar app as shown below in the first code sample. But, when I set up my app with a class, as shown below in the second code sample, the image disappears. How can I correct this? I'm sure the answer would...

I'm trying to print a simple catalogue of products but where an image straddles a page break, the image either disappears completely or else the first half prints at the bottom of the page but the second half does not print at the top of the following page.? Huh.? The single image for each record is contained inside of a table with a simple construct. No rowspans just an ordinary <td> placement. The output can be viewed at:

I would like to adapt the gallery at "http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menu/gallery_click.html" so that when a thumbnail is clicked the larger image remains selected until another thumb is clicked. At the moment when I click a thumbnail the larger image appears, but if I click anywhere else in the page or adjust my scrollbar the image

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
