Hi,
I run a few sites and I want to log in my main site database when/if there
is a problem, (like a page not found or an unknown agent).
But I don't want to give direct access to my database to the other sites, so
how could I safely pass data, (without passwords), from one site to another?

A: Pass a URL to file() or file_get_contents(). The former returns the
contents as an array of lines. The latter returns the same as string.

Some sites seem to be session driven in the sense that if I visit the
homepage and do a few clicks I can navigate anywhere I want, but if I
paste the current location into a new browser window after having
navigated to some page, it doesn't work. It just returns to the start
page or says "timeout" etc.
This means that I can't read these pages from PHP with
$string = file_get_contents('http://some.url/blah/deep/link');

I've written a very simple web site using vb.net.
I want to move the site to another machine.
I've set up IIS on the other machine and installed the .NET framework.
I've copied the files from C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ApplicationDirectory to the
same directory on the other machine.

Hi,
I need to post log in details from one web site to another to log the user
in to one of two sites. The user will enter a username and password in to
textboxes on site 'A', and depending on the format of the username they will
be logged in to either site B or site C.
I am generating a form post from the code behind, but the login page I am
posting to returns a code 200 (OK), but no redirect URI - so the original
page just reloads....

server, but it must appear on the clients' websites. That means that
the user should not be redirected to my site, but instead should remain
on the client's site. Or at least appear that they are remaining on the

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
