How my html pages looks like in Apple machine?

Hello, I am developing website using Windows/Linux. I don't have any Apple
computers but I need to know how the html code looks like in Apple computer.
What's the brower in Windows/Linux rendering html code mostly the same as
Apples brower (Safari, I guess the most popular current?)?
Konquerer?

To get your web pages to work everywhere, use <http://validator.w3.or g/>.

Safari is based off of Konqueror, yes, but they are not identical. IE 5
Mac isn't really like anything else. And Geckos are Geckos, I suppose.

I've got the following problem. I'm a biologist and I have a device at work which monitors my frog habitat. The device has a bunch of sensors, and runs an embedded html server with some java functions defined which know how to read the hardware sensorts. I access it from wherever I am via any browser, and it displays the measurements (a set of simple numbers) as Java applets in a simple html page. One entry in this page (a table cell) looks...

Are we going backwards ? (please excuse my spelling...) In my opinion an absolute YES ! Take a look at what we are doing ! we create TAGS, things like <H1> etc. and although there are tools (dreamweaver and the like), they are all at the lowest level of programming (something like assembly as oposed to C++ etc.). These tools create "brain-dead" developers that constantly have to plough through tons of tags to do the simplest thing. ...

I'm currently developing an application in C++/MFC (Visual Studio 6, if that makes a difference) and I'd like to avoid the Windows style UI widgets and dialogs if at all possible. In fact, what I'd really like to do is use HTML/web pages as the user interface and invoke my application in the background to do the heavy lifting. I'm fairly well experienced with web pages and I've written a fair amount of JavaScript at one time or another...

Hello, I am a complete and utter newbie at ASP.NET, so please forgive any stupid questions ;-) I am just trying to get my head around the whole web forms business, but have run into a problem. I have been a web designer for many years and have always made a specific point of writing HTML that is valid according to W3C specifications. With web forms, the .NET framework seems to generate some of the HTML, and what it generates is not...

Most of the web pages whose source I look at have a very elaborate structure (even apart from any massive use of Javascript), often with div in div in div layered up to six deep, lots of classes and spans all over. I usually can't follow exactly why they are so elaborate (I know some are containers to avoid browser bugs). In addition to attempting to retrofit a more semantic structure on pages, I have been trying to reduce the...

I know how to do this in JavaScript by window.open("newFile.html", "newTarget", "scrollbars=no,resizable=0,width=200,height=200"); The browser will open a new window size 200x200, not allow resize and no auto horizontal, vertical scrolling bars. I am wonder can I do the similar inside a HTML file like

Hi i applied service pack1 to my installation but to no avail. Studio removes any style tags from my HTML when i save. I removed all the checkboxes from the html and xml formatting options which is probably going to cause me problems down the line, sods law. The pages have been created in the latest version of dreamweaver mx and i have copied the html over into my aspx pages. Its quite annoying as i have to copy the html into notepad...

It's old stupid and lazy here again I have been wanting to keep using my WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get - for my fellow stupids) html editor. But I was told that you HAD to rename your files to .PHP so they would be parsed correctly. Oh contraire if you are hosted by Apache and have some access to the .htaccess file mechanism In my case through the "cPanel" and then "Apache Handlers"

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
