visual studio 2003 messing around with css in my html

Hi i applied service pack1 to my installation but to no avail. Studio
removes any style tags from my HTML when i save. I removed all the
checkboxes from the html and xml formatting options which is probably going
to cause me problems down the line, sods law.

The pages have been created in the latest version of dreamweaver mx and i
have copied the html over into my aspx pages. Its quite annoying as i have
to copy the html into notepad for a backup copy and then change it and paste
it into studio and immediatley save it, also this isn't practical for me
either, has anyone else encountered this problem and have any idea as to how
to fix it. Using something other than dreamweaver is also not an option as
the designers build up the pages on the apple macs and i just make them
function, besides dreamweaver is the best wysiwyg out there.

Also studio 2005 isn't an option we are just starting out and can't afford
it, having purchased 2003, plus i only know 1.1 at the moment not 2.0 anyways.

oh yeah its only the css that it plays around with like
style="backgrou nd-image:
url(images/table_backgroun d.gif);backgrou nd-repeat: repeat"
, plus the pages that are having problems it removes the " from around the
html like <table id=table1 border=0 width=400px>
don't know if this helps

thanks in advance

I have recently installed Visual Studio .Net 2003 and have noticed that there are problems with formatting in the HTML code page. If I format the HTML the way I want and navigate back to design view then the changes in the code page are lost. I searched around and found that there was a patch for Visual Studio .Net 2002 referenced by Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 324199. I tried to load this patch but of course it won't patch 2003....

I'm currently experiencing a strange phenomenon: At my Office, Visual Studio takes a very long time to compile our solution (more than 1 minute for the first project). At home, Visual Studio compiles the same solution much faster (about 10 seconds for the first project). My home computer is only marginally faster than the one I have at the office (P4 2.53 vs. P4 2.4, same amount of RAM). On the slow machine, the CPU usage is very low,...

Is their anyway I can display .vb files in the solution explorer? At the moment they don't appear, though i can edit them by clicking on a web form.

In the book: "Working with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005" Craig Skibo wrote: "The power of Visual Studio 2005 lies in its ability to empower users to build, test, and debug powerful applications quickly and easly." I don't agree on what concernes ASP .NET Web Sites in VS2005. All what involves Namespaces in Web sites has been disappeared. I know you can still MANUALLY manage them, but not QUICKLY and EASLY. In a

I recently upgraded to from Visual Studio .NET 2003 to Visual Studio .NET 2005. In Visual Studio .NET 2003 when I would select 'Build' it would add a *.dll with the name of the Project to a /bin/ folder in the same directory as the source code. However, in Visual Studio .NET 2005 when I selected 'Publish Web Site' and selected a target location to place it in, it placed the following files in it: All *.aspx files All *.html files

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
