I have written the following VBScript program. It is stored into a
file "map_drive.vbs". It successfully mapped to a network drive
\\server1\data.
Dim WshNetwork
Set WshNetwork = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Network")
sPwd = inputbox("Enter password")
WshNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "J:", "\\server1\data", false,

Hi all, is there a good way to have a popup window appear using Javascript

While the comments are appropriate as far as substance is
concerned I really think it would be a little bit more
helpful if in addition some meaningful response to the OP
request be made.
Some posters (clearly this one) come to the net in search for
help, and it is rather discouraging to be read the "riot
act" instead.

this may be more of an "html" issue, but I'll wing it.
i've got a multi-language site, where the home-page of each language group
features a link to a popup window that offers background info on site
management. the popup is fired by a javascript function, when they click
the site management link. there's also a "window close" function button so
they can nuke it as they please.
now, oddly, people who search for my site in the chinese...

Does the "value" type (value as in key-value pair )of "std::map"
require a default ctor even if it is not used ?
If I comment out Line 1 in the code attached later,
i.e remove the default ctor of "value" type of map,
I get the following error:

I'm writing a test "modular site". So far I have created an App class,
a Module Manager class and a couple of test modules.
The Manager looks in a directory called 'modules' and then for every
