How to program a form to email upon submit?

Hi everyone,

I have a form on my web site, but can not program the form to submit data via email to the main info@ email address without opening the senders email software. I know there are sites that do it for you, like http://www.formmail.co m. I am hoping I do not need to subscribe anywhere. Any suggestions on how this works. I am new to this.

Here's my contact page and form:

Thank you,
Gilda

forms that do not require the user’s email software usually address a server script, which acts as email application.

How to I produce a server script to do that?

that depends on your server’s capabilities (i.e. what server side languages are available). most of the server side languages have some kind of email functionality, where there are certainly tutorials available.

Dear Netscape/Javascript/Java gurus, I am trying to submit a form onUnLoad when the user accidentally closes the browser before clicking on a link to complete the transaction. On IE, this works fine. But on Netscape or Mozzilla browsers, the form would simply not submit when the browser is closed.

(Kinda like a menu, you make your choice from) But since this table can get very long, I've put something of a 'search-form' on top, which enables the user to make a

Hi Everyone, On an HTML page with 2x different forms, how can I redisplay the same page after a submit, restoring the values from BOTH forms even though only one was submitted? I have an existing PHP program that I am modifying, and need to redisplay the same page after a submit (the button that submits is a "change shipping" button, that allows the user to continue with the rest of the page). The problem is that there are TWO forms -...

Hello. I am new to this forum as well as to ASP and need some help with a simple email form for a website I've developed. I have a simple html email form that is processed with an ASP script using the POST method, that should redirect to an html thank you page upon successful submission of the form. All three pages currently reside on a server and the site is live, so I am accessing the form from the live website to test it. The ASP script...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
