I can't find a way to execute a Windows application, whose directory path
contains blank spaces, from a PHP script. I also wonder if the problem
happens under Linux and other OS.

I could not understand how I can do the following things in Python.
Please help me.
1. First I have to find the current directory from where the script is
invoked.
2. Next I have to form a directory structure there. If the current
directory in step 1 is /home/mylogin, then from there I have to build
a directory structure like

Message object defaults and whether it's normal to have to set this value

I have looked at the various attributes of the HttpRequest class, but I
didn't find an attribute to return the directory path to the current
request.
Given the URL Http://www.contoso.com/virdir/page.html, I would like to have
a method to return:
Http://www.contoso.com/virdir/
Does anyone know how to achieve this?

Hello. I would like to find the name of the virtual directory and the
directory path of the website from a business class which the website uses.
I can't figuire out what the code would be? Any ideas???
This makes me think of another question.. How would I determine if my
business object is running under a web application or standalone
application?

I'm creating temporary directories in my web app (e.g. ~/data/temp/temp123)
to allow users to upload files. When I later delete these directories (from
the code behind), the application restarts and all active sessions are
terminated.

Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a "directory path" solution that will allows me to test my
app locally and then test on remote web server without having to update my
web.config file each time I modify the file. In other words I'm storing the
paths (for centralizing purposes) as custom <appSettings> in the web.config.
expample (for local testing):
