I have one last, irritating bug in my company's new website that I can't fix and I'm hoping you may be able to help with. It may be related to my java menu, but it is a stylistic issue so I'm trying here first.
Here is the site link: http://www.ghjohnsontr ading.com/new-site/furnishings.htm l
Relevant style sheets are outline.css and stylesheet01.cs s in the /new-site directory.
The issue I'm having is this: in Firefox my left navigation collapsible menu is displaying just fine, but in Safari, IE and Chrome I'm getting a grey top and bottom border on my plus/minus .png image buttons handled by the onClick event. I've tried messing around with the line height values, and obviously all my border values are set to 0px (I think...) It's driving me up the wall and I can't figure out why it's happening - can anyone help? My CSS and HTML are both validating and I've got it displaying as I'd like, this is the last issue holding me back from adding content.
Thanks so much.

You are setting a background-color to the anchor tag around your plus/minus. -
<a href="#" style="background-color: rgb(158, 158, 158); " onclick="outlineItemClickByOffset(0); return false" class="olink"><img class="oimg" style="background-color: #9e9e9e" alt="Open" src="oopen.png" border="0" id="oimg"></a>
-
Oh my god. I forgot to change it back from when I was messing around with that div's background colour last week. Well, I feel like an idiot, but I'm very relieved it's fixed - thank you so much! It sucks being the only one in my department so there's no one to check over my work - I appreciate it so much, thanks again.

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to put a 1px solid border around the image in this
link:
<a href="some.html"><img src="some.gif"></a>
Well, that, by itself, is simple. However, I would like to have a different
border color for a mouse hover effect over the image. With Mozilla, I can
simply specify img:hover {...}, but IE allows hover only for <a>. So now I'm
looking for a way to set the border for my <a> element rather than the
<img>, but...

This is apparently an ie display bug, I can't seem to figure out which
ie bug this is.
a 3 sided border is created by wrapping the 'inner' box in the 'middle'
box and padding the 'middle' box 1px on 3 sides. It looks the same in
firefox and ie.
Then the same box is wrapped in yet another box with a red border on the
bottom. In Firefox the 'middle' box still has padding on only 3 sides,
and the red border is showing on the bottom. In...

Please forgive the simplicy of this question. I have the following code
which attempts to determine the color of some text and set other text
to match that color. It works fine in Firefox, but does nothing in IE.
I'd be greatful for any assistance. Also, if I will have problems the
code on Opera or Safari, I'd appreciate any pointers--I don't have a
Mac to test Safari.
THanks very much,
Michael

I am trying to put a border after the headings. I got it to work but was
wondering if there was an easier more intuitive way of doing this. Code is
below.

I have an htaccess file protected folder. In that folder I have several php files that generate some simple html. When I am logged out, cache cleared, sessions info cleared, I navigate to one of the php scripts, and the login screen shows up. so far so good.
But now, even if i enter invalid information in the login screen, or cancel out of it, my php script seems to be running, and my information is showing up in the browser.

I have a page that I created with ASP.NET which contains a RadioButtonList.
This obviously shows up as input tags in the generated page. When I was
looking at the page with the free Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar
utility, it showed me the id, type, and name attributes, but not the value
attribute. Even if I select the "Show Read-Only Properties" option, it does
not show me the value attribute. I know it is in the generated code,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
