dear all, i have a table wherein, upon clicking, some columns are hidden by the 'display:none' attribute set from javascript. as a result, the table is realigned. specifically, since the table is n x 2, whenever an element in column 0 is hidden, the corresponding element from column 1 is dragged across into column 1. this happens in IE6.0. the display:none can not be changed to visibility:hidden. is there some way to tell the browser...

This is a small table with hover on the table cells. The first cell is setup to switch from div element to input element by use of display:block/none. In IE, onclick the input element is displayed correctly but it disappears if another hover is triggered. Any thoughts? Thanks,Jonny <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN">

I have some web pages on which I'd like to suppress certain items when printing. This is mostly working nicely: index.htm (here stripped to relevant essentials) has: <head> <link rel="stylesheet" href="style0.css" type="text/css"> <link rel="stylesheet" href="print0.css" type="text/css" media="print"> <head> <body>

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"> <html> <head> <title>rolly</title> <!-- The desired performance for this gem would be to: 1. click on table cells 2. edit in INPUT 3. click away, data presented in table cell. 2.0 The table cells have hover highlighting.

For increased accessibility, I've replaced "display:none" with the Off-Left method of hiding my CSS drop-down menus because the Jaws screen reader doesn't see any of the menus hidden with "display:none". The Off-Left method (placing elements way over to the left beyond the browser window) seems to work well in everything except IE 6 for the PC, where it displays the drop-downs about an inch to the right of where they should be. (View...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
