I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I've seen and tried various
solutions I've seen on the net, but nothing works.
Of course it works perfectly on localhost, but when I upload it to the
server (1and1.com) it gives errors. The user enters a code, the code is
verified, a new one is created and it's supposed to send them to the next
page.
if (CodeExist($cCode) > 0){
$cNewCode = MakeCode();
$ok = InsertRec($cNewCode);

I have to come up to speed quickly on PHP since I have been given the
responsibilty of updating our website.
I have setup a local web server through IIS, downloaded and installed
PHP. I'm using Dreamweaver to edit my pages. When attempting to preview
pages the include file is being read and the page is properly displayed
in the browser with the exception of images.
I think I know what the problem is, but I'm not sure how to fix it. The...

I am just wondering if dreamweaver still has a timeline or animations
section. I was able to quickly do this with dreamweaver 2 or 3, not sure,
and it was a bit like the flash timeline. Is there anything like this in
2004 MX?
Thanks
I know this isn't the right group, but I'm hoping someone could help
quickly. This is where I spend most of my time.

I've only just realised that the reason
http://digitalrat.co.uk/test3/index.html
isn't rendered correctly in DW MX2004 is because it assumes html is
enclosed in another element, as for IE, but it doesn't suffer from IE's
broken float model, hence the IE hacks to fix the page up mess up
rendering in DW.
It's not particularly important, but I wondered if there was a clean way
to workaround this? If so, it wouldn't do any harm to support...

I've made a gallery site for an artist and it works well -- the gallery
page has a central large image which is swapped when thumbnail images
are clicked. I'm using Dreamweaver's "SwapImage" behavior. The problem
is that this fails under certain versions of IE and possibly NN on PCs
and Macs -- I haven't gotten my client to send me details of what
version he's using (sorry) or any of my 'beta testers' -- but I'm really
getting frustrated....

Hello,
Until now I have been using Macromedia Dreamweaver to create web sites.
I worked in PHP and ASP.
However in this moment I work mostly in ASP.NET.
What is the best tool to create ASP.NET web sites?
I would like something where I can work with code but at same time I can
also have a visual idea of what is going on.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
