Anyone using dreamweaver mx 2004... I need quick help.

I am just wondering if dreamweaver still has a timeline or animations
section. I was able to quickly do this with dreamweaver 2 or 3, not sure,
and it was a bit like the flash timeline. Is there anything like this in
2004 MX?

Thanks

I know this isn't the right group, but I'm hoping someone could help
quickly. This is where I spend most of my time.

Use the Flash application to develop your video with timelines. Go
into DreamWeaver to design your page. When you come to the bit where
you want to add your timeline shots, click the Flash toolbutton and
drop in the stuff you did earlier. Once you get the hang of it, you
can go into Flash from DreamWeaver so you can do all the work in one
place - but its really smooth however you work.

I've been doing ASP by hand-coding in either Homesite or Interdev for years. I have been using Dreamwever for static sites that I make on the side. I recently was asked to make a form which will store info in an Access database, and thought it would be a good chance to learn how to use Dreamweaver MX's ASP capabilities. Haven't tried it yet, but reading up on it, it seems that it forces you to use Session variables. I'm not a big fan of...

I date back to the early days of the web when HTML was limited but very managable, and have always maintained that hand-coding HTML gives you far better control and cleaner HTML markup than any WYSIWYG editor. But all the sites I created and manage are small sites (<50 pages). And I've been out of the loop in terms of what's new in methodology and with the specifications for the past couple of years.

I just added a "Testimonial Letters" page for our band's web site. On a whim, I decided to try using a drop cap to start each paragraph. I looked up how to do it on someone's web site. His example looked good, but had a lot of "pixel sized" elements. I'm no expert, but I don't like when pages go haywire on different browsers, or with different text sizes. So I blundered around changing the stylesheet parameters. Here's what I came up...

Are there things offered by products like Dreamweaver that I need to complement the Net Framework design in Visual Studio? I find that Javascript routines and special graphics are non-existent in Visual Studio. I code most of my html pages manually and use C# for my asp pages. Drop down menus and such I have to rely on third party products. So, will Dreamweaver fill these gaps? Dave

Here's my problem: Thumbnails on the left, main image on the right, on mouseover the image swaps fine but doesn't keep it's dimensions. The first image, a blank I set at 450px square, the replacments some 300 x 450 or 450 x 300 will stretch to fit the 450sq original. I guess this highlights one of the downfalls of DreamWeaver, not knowing the code/script. I appreciate any help.

Hello all! I'm using Dreamweaver 8 to build forms for a website I am building/maintaining. I can build the form just fine, but now I need a fairly simple PHP code to be able to have the forms sent to me. As I look throughout the Internet at various PHP formmailers, I am pretty confused at how they all work. Is there something relatively simple that I could use? Would someone be willing to help me build a form so that I know what I'm...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
