I have some JS code that hides the current div, sets the tabnumber
passed in as the current tab number, then shows that tab. As I switch
between different tab groups, I hide the current tab and then send the
first tab of the new group to the show tab function.
If I pick a later tab, then switch to a new tab group, when the divs
display there's a "ghost" button and text area which appear that are
blank. This is repeatable in IE 6 and 7. When I mouse over the span
in which they sit they dissappear. When I use alerts to tell me which
variable is being hidden and shown, this does not occur- no ghost form
elements display.
I'm reviewing this now. A coworker suggested I'm over using the
show/hide functionality. Has anyone seen this before? Again, as soon
as I can get a working public example to show you, I will.

I am going nuts trying to find a paragraph in a book that described how to
change the text content (HTML) in a DIV.
Actually I have an array of HTML strings that I want to drop into the DIV,
depending on button clicks, etc.
Putting this stuff into TEXTAREA and TEXT is simple, but I want to be able
to mix font families, weights, sizes, and stuff like that.

I have a page with images that the user can drag from one frame to
another. I need them to see a "ghost image" of the image they are
dragging, while the original stays put. I use the onmousemove event
to keep the ghost image under the mouse pointer. There are three
problems:
(1) if the ghost image is dragged so it is partially off the edge of
the screen, scrollbars appear. This not only looks bad, it can cause
the page to autoscroll...

Ran into the following problem while trying to have a code to
attach a Virtual Keyboard to any user's form:
User clicks a button and my JavaScript changes outerHTML
of say <textarea - adding things like ONCLICK='saveCaret(this)'
etc. and it also tries to save any text that user could've entered
before the button press.
