using up, down, left, right keys to navigate through text without edit option

1 New Member
I‘m creating a web page that will consist of many pictures and text blocks.
My goal is to confind text to individual pages and jumps to another page just like one would turn the pages of a magazine.

QUESTION: Is there a code out there that would allow the viewer to click into a block of text and navigate his way through, using the arrow keys on the keyboard, ( like writers normally do when proofreading a story) until the blinking cursor gets to the end of the text block and linking automatically to the corresponding page of pictures and continuing story?

Was I clear enough?

I need to figure out how to compute pi to base 12, to as many digits as possible. I found this reference, <http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Base.html>, but I really don't understand it well enough. Could someone show me how to do what I need? Thanks, Dick Moores rdm@rcblue.com

Hi, I am stuck... I've got a popup window that displays a list in table format with links on the bottom to navigate the list <prev> 1 2 3 ... <next> When I demo'd to the users... they immediately asked if they could use the arrow keys and enter key to navigate the list. I think there must be a way to do this, but I can't figure it out.

First of all, I'm an Asian and I need to input Japanese, Korean and so on. I've tried many PHP IDEs today, but almost non of them supported Unicode (UTF-8) file. I've found that the only Unicode support IDEs are DreamWeaver 8 and Zend PHP Studio. DreamWeaver provides full support for Unicode. However, DreamWeaver is a web editor rather than a PHP IDE. It only supports basic IntelliSense (or code completion) and doesn't have anything...

Does anyone know how to use VBA to relink tables between two MS Access databases? We have two databases, one with VBA code and the other with data tables. The tables are referenced by linked tables in the database where the code resides. If we move the database with the data tables to a new directory, the links are no longer valid. I tried to update the links by changing the Connect property and refreshing: Set td = db.TableDefs(0)...

Hi, In recently recieved some excellent advice which ebnabled me to make a form behave as a spreadsheet with respect to the down and up arrow keys. To develop this further I would like the right and left arrow to move to the next or previous tab control. DoCmd.GotoRecord,,AcNext does the business for down, but nowhere can I find a 'docmd go to next tab' or words to that effect!!! Any ideas?

Hello there, I have a front end database that I have recently made very many changes to to allow off-line use. I keep copies of the databases on my hard drive and link to them rather than the live databases on the network. Is there a way, via code, when I get back in-house from being on the road to click a button, and select the backends I want to link to? I would want to delete all the current links and link to the "live"

Hi, I couldnt locate a Classic ASP group hence posting here. One of my colleagues has designed an intranet site and one of the pages has a drop-down box with close to 300 options. I want to navigate to the desired option quickly just by typing out the name. For example if I want to choose "Other" (All the options are arranged alhabetically within the Drop-down box) from Drop-down and if I Type "O" then I navigate to first entry with...

I have a couple of DIV's that I hide/display based on radio buttons. On the DIV's, I have multiple drop down boxes. The source shows that they are populated, but I can't make them drop down. Only click on the Unplatted Radio button, the rest isn't functional, yet. Any ideas how to make these drop down in FF. This works in IE. Here is the code: <HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE>Door County Register of Deeds - Tract Inquiry</TITLE>

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
