Windows (XP and NT) allows one to specify environmental variable
(such as PATH and CLASSPATH) at both the SYSTEM-wide level
as well as at the per-USER level.
And the behavior has always been that the value of one's PATH list is
the concatenation of those two ENV specifications.
So, the $64 question is: Is there some way to coerce the resulting
CLASSPATH list to also be a concatenation of both the SYSTEM
and the USER's lists?

Hi,
I have a javascript, calendar.js which i use to enable my client to
select the date. This calendar pops up on the click of a gif image.
But the problem is that this poped up window is not modal in nature(i
do not want the user to go the parent page unless he selects some date
in the calendar popup).
In the javascript calendar.js he has used window.open() function to

I'm trying to make a combo box custom control (Windows Forms .NET 1.1
c#) that can behave like a label programatically at run time. This is
actually a strong feature request by our customers. I really don't
want to have to make a UserControl that has both a label and ComboBox
in it. I would rather have my control derive from a ComboBox for
databinding (and other) reasons.

One of the things I have always missed from VB6 days is that whilst I am
debugging code which writes to my form, I could always task switch to the
form and see the results as I went. With VB.Net you just get an hour glass
over a completely blank screen. I was hoping the VB 2005 would be better but
it isn't. Why is this? Why can't it be like it was in VB6 days?
