Seeking whole site HTML validator (plus extras)

There are many good HTML validators, not least, of course being
w3c's. However, they only handle one page at a time.

Is there a free web based served, or pc program, which will crawl my
site validating the HTML?

Bonus features like CSS validation, link checking, spell checking, etc
are welcome of course, but most important for me at the moment is HTML
validation.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Possible slight help :

CHEKLINX, via sig line 3, is a 16-bit DOS program which scans the local
master of a site checking local links.

It does not otherwise validate, and its scanning is fast and pragmatic; it
does not parse. HREF & NAME must be the first thing after <A to be
recognised.

That version is limited in the size of site it can handle (runs out of
stack); the corresponding EXE via sig line 2 is the same source compiled
for Windows 32-bit; it has not yet met a site size limit.

It checks, on a PII/300, 139 pages in 10 seconds; or four seconds for a
recheck when much is cached.

Summary: 139 files tested ; 2127 anchors seen ; 8008 relative cites seen ;
Relative citations: directories - missing 0, found 5 ;
Relative citations: filenames - missing 0, found 695 ;
Relative citations: anchors - missing 0, found 4220 ;
Local URLs 30 ; Odd A-refs 0 ; Make relatives 0 ; NotHTM 557 ;
Links over 8.3 format 0 ; Links with Upper Case 0 ; Links with "\" 0 ;
Repeated NAMEs 0 ; Unused NAMEs ? ; UnQuoted HREF/NAME/&c. 1 ;
Empty values 0 ; Far URLs 2265 ;
No guarantees.

I am seeking some kind of tool that I can use for GUI prototyping. I know how to use Visual Basic, but since a lot of software is being coded in Java or C++, I'd like to learn a Java or C++ -based tool. Back when I took my Java and C++ classes (two or three years ago), the available tools -- at least the ones I could find -- were still not as easy, not as "drag-and-drop", as Visual Basic. Has that changed? Is there some software out...

I am a full-time freelance writer. I am seeking an established, professional web designer who has designed more than one successful website for freelance writers. The individual needs to be able to do the whole job including content, design, graphics and logo. I may want some input or to supply text to work with for the content for obvious reasons. They need to be able to demonstrate that the sites they have done for writers have been...

As you might have noticed I'm trying to clean up my web site's HTML code. The way I do it is simply more or less redoing to complete site, testing it on a web server I have set up on my local network. I have downloaded, and installed CSE HTML Validator Pro, but I don't get the same results with that as I do with the online validator on W3.org. And I can't upload files to W3.org either, due to all the ASP code I use.

On this page of my website: http://www.zen62775.zen.co.uk/rigs.html the W3C html validator claims that there are some bytes it cannot interpret in line 49 of the html source as UTF-8. If I force ISO-8859-1 encoding, however, the page will validate correctly but displays a warning about the & character on the same line, saying that & is the "first character of a delimiter but occurred as data". Is there any way to remedy this problem/issue?...

I have a home-made website that provides a free 1100 page physics textbook. It is written in html and css. I recently added some chinese text, and since that day there are problems. The entry page has two chinese characters, but these are not seen on all browsers, even though the page is validated by the w3c validator. ( http://www.motionmountain.net/welcome.html)

Hi, I'm an Austrian writer living in Montpezat (South France). I just installed a local W3C validator on my machine (Slackware 10.1, local Apache server). It's accessible as http://w3c-validator, because I'm on dialup and I want to check pages offline. Unfortunately, URL upload won't work, because the validator doesn't accept any URL's beginning with http://localhost.

Why does IE not show the full html source when I try to view the source?? I mean why does it hide a few features. Previously I had an issue where the data grid html representation was hidden in the source view. After spending a LOT of time troubleshooting this, it was due to the smart navigation setting. Now I can't see the html for the validators error messages. It's getting pretty irritating to work around IE's quirks and its non...

Eh unfortunately Google groups does not provide any longer a way to reply to the group for older posts (though the one I am referring to is not older than one month), and I happen to come back to this after life has asked my attention elsewhere for a while :-) Yet I think your point deserves a reply. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
