Deleting Browser Address Box History

As you visit each new Web site, a history of that visit accumulates in the
address box of the IE browser. By clicking on the drop down arrow in the
address box, you can easily access a visited site. Is there a way to delete
just ONE of the visited addresses in the drop down address box area of the
IE Browser versus deleting them all? One of the principals at my school, for
some reason, wants to delete just one of the visited sites in the address
box, but not all of them. Is this possible? If so, how can it be done?

Thanks,
Bill

This isn't really a good question for a newsgroup about authoring HTML.
You'll be more likely to get a response in an IE-related group.

IIRC they are held in the registry somewhere. Do a search for that
address in the registry and delete the relevant key.

Funny, that doesn't happen as *I* visit each new Web site, since I
don't use that crappy pseudo-browser; I use Mozilla.

Easily done in Opera (like lots of other things IE can't do): perhaps
you could suggest he does himself a favour and tries it.

Hi In my asp.net application I use Response.redirect to go from pages to pages. Everything is fine until a search function on a page is performed (it's a sql select and the result is bound to a datalist) and after that if I click on a linkbutton to go to another page, it goes to the desired page but some of the pages in the history of the browser are lost, and I can't go back, say, 2 pages further using the Back button of the browser. If I...

Hi, I hope I'm not OT. I have the following issue: I want to delete a record from my db with a php script. Let's say I'm auth'd and I want to delete the record id 440. With a simple form (get or post), I send the id to my script and delete the record (DELETE FROM table WHERE id=some_validated_input). The problem is if I'm a nasty guy I just write my own form and delete any

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
