I have a full page of thumbnails linked to home plan pages. I'm adding
a mouseover/mouseout effect to the table cells, plus a onclick event to
permanently set the cell background to indicate the user's latest
choice. This is in addition to the normal A HREF link, and seems to
work fine. I set up anchors (A name="") on the thumbnail page, and the
"Back to Plans" link from the home plan page contains a hash (#) to
scroll the page down and...

Hi, I'm playing around with tables (TOM vs. DOM etc.)
I cannot figure out an effective highlight mechanics for the cells:
1) No problems with:
<td ...onMouseOver/Out background change>
some text inside
</td>
2)
<td ...onMouseOver/Out background change>

I'm trying to put together a horizontal tab nav in a User Control, and I
want to have some mouseOver behavior. This could easily be done with
just CSS, however hyperlinking this way (client-side) would lose session
state, right? So I can't do this.
I was thinking that a mouseOver on the link text would just make it
bold, or change color.
I'd like each tab to be prettier than just a different table cell
background color, more like a...

Not sure I can even word this clearly, but...
I have an aspx page on which I have several tabs (button controls). Each
button causes the panel with a certain ascx control to become visible.
When I click on a tab (making it "active" to the user), I set the button
image using javascript. All is fine until I click on any postback
control within the ascx control. Then the button reverts back to its
original image/color. If I mouseover it,...

Greetings again to everyone,
Im back to show this grid componenet i´ve developed. With this grid you can show the data like a normal table, remove the rows that you need, add rows, import data, call determined functions, and edit the data already present
What will you need to use the grid? A table with standard markup and an ID to call the script that will turn the table into a grid
Parameters:
tabelaID => id of the table that will...

I'm a relatively slow response of table cells changing their
background color with mouseover/our in IE6 (Win 2K) but the response
is fine (fast) in Firefox. Why? The code is below. Sorry about the

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
