Where can I find a list of the smilies supported by the vb code syntax? The "list" provided in the FAQ just contains a message describing briefly what a smiley is.

After you post a message. Select the link to edit/delete the message. Smiley icons will show. Selecting will just add to title but you can drag them as images into the message.

Thanks, but what I'm after is the codes to insert in the text initially, to avoid all that. I know a few such as smile :) and frown :( but would like to find the rest.
What's frustrating is that there is a link in the FAQ that purports to show you the full list, but it doesn't.

At a guess I would say Adrian might know.
Otherwise, KUB has the flu at the moment and Banfa hasn't been online much the last couple of days but one of them should pick this up soon.
I'd be interested to know myself.

I was wondering about smilies too, i noticed that sometimes i.e when you use <:)> for smile, you might see the smile face or sometimes nothing at all. I wonder why this happens. Thanks for raising up this issue, just love to see KUB fixing things. :)

Some forums have simlies disabled. This doesn't stop you using them, of course, it just means that theScripts doesn't convert them to images.
As you can see :) this is one of them. Unfortunately.

What I'm trying to find is just the list of text strings which 'theScripts' will automatically translate into graphical smiley symbols.
The option is turned off in this particular forum, but in some others such as the Visual Basic and Access forums, if you type :) in your message, it changes to a nice little smiley-face icon when displayed.
(I was going to paste it in here, but couldn't find it.)

Why not find a forum that supports smilies and just start posting some of the text codes to see which ones work? :) :( :o :p XD etc...
