A customer of mine wants to make a newsletter for their website. The
newsletter should be HTML with images and sent to a database of her
subscribers.
They would like a script where they can easily compose and send the
newsletter. I can write that, but wouldnt like to reinvent the weel.
Does anybody here have any good recomendations on newsletter
composing/sending software? Userfriendliness and simplicity is the key.

Is there a trick how to use CSS in newsletters ?
I'm trying to use CSS formating when creating newsletter, but when i recieve
CSS newsletter, no CSS formating is visible, all the text is visible in
default Times new roman font.

I'm trying to do an automatic signup for a newsletter hosted on a
separate site.
The original page is to sign up to receive a catalog by mail, with an
option to signup for an e-newsletter. All of the information is
validated when the user clicks submit.
At this point a second page is opened (thanking them for their request)
and the information previously entered is hidden in a form to be
submitted to the e-newsletter service provider....

hy,
I've got a quite simple application: one windows form that consists of a
button, and as soon as the user hits the button a second form shall appear.
The difficult thing about it is that I want the new form to be created as
"deactivated" - that means that the second form has an editbox in it, and
this must NOT have the focus - instead, the calling form shall keep its
focus.
One simple way would be to immediately set focus back...

I'm embedding a last.fm flash widget.
I want to be able to remove it from the page using javascript.
I've tried to delete the html element that contains the code but it keeps playing in IE. In FF it stops playing but I can't tell if it is removed or not.
Can I do it in javascript or maybe I need a FLASH script to do it?

Hi,
I have a web site that sends emails to some 17000 newsletter
subscribers, the script takes about 5 minutes to complete the task,
depending of the size of the attachment.
The problem is that sometime it takes so much time that is difficult
to know if something is going wrong, and sometimes the script
terminates with timeout.
I thought to solve the timeout question with a set_limit_time() but i
am not sure where to put this line:...
