Microsoft Outlook locking up

4 New Member
I have used Microsoft Outlook for 2 years with no problems. However, in the last few weeks it keeps locking up. I can send messages, but whenever I hit the send/receive button, the hourglass comes on and it just sits there. It locks up the whole computer and I have to turn it off. (I do delete cookies, temp files, and do defrag on a regular basis.) I keep the deleted folder emptied, but I do have alot of emails stored in Outlook.

Can you help??

Fortunately I can check email through the web link, but I really want my Outlook back.

Any help is appreciated.

I was having similar problems with my computer, my outlook was locking up my pc, almost anything i did locked it up and i would get the "Program Not Responding" message and that would freeze too. I had to whip out my whole PC do to file corruption and viruses.

Maybe try and delete some of your e-mails or re-install the Office Suite if you can.

But from what I know microsoft will generally not asking normal users (my e-mail account is just a free one among the millions others) to do this. Will those e-mail contain trojan horse programs or virus ? Where can I report the case (I need one concrete e-mail address) to if so ? Thanks!

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
