Hi Reshma,

connect reset -- apply at database level and will reset your current connection with the database. Other users can still carry on with their normal application processing.
db2stop force -- apply at instance level, and will stop the instance forcefully, terminating any application that was connected to the databases under the instance. All users will be affected and no one can connect to the database.

Cheers, Vijay

Hi all, Is it possible to have two connects in the same rexx script to different DB's? I have to get data form on DB (with specifics selects and filter out some values with RExx) and save the results into another DB? I know from Wscripts and MS-Sql that you can build just two objects but I did not see something like that in REXX. Thanks in advance for your help

I'm having a BLAST writing this app as OOP as PHP allows. It's one thing to discuss the dance, but it's a thing of beauty to see the performance. I'm noticing that the constructor is a "reset" switch - just like the one on the front of my computer. Calling it seems to just dump all of the old values, free up all of the old resources, and return the object to a pristine state. However, I'm a *little* concerned about just using the...

i have a form in which a hidden field (initial value as '0', and my javascript set it to '1' when an event is trigged). In the same form, i have a reset field. But I realized that the hidden field is not reset to '0' when i push the reset button. If I simply change the node from "<input type="hidden" id='IsChanged' value='0'>" to "<input type="text" id='IsChanged' value='0'>" Everything is working as expected (the value is reset to '0'...

Hi, All, I have question on DB2 CONNECT configure. We installed DB2 ESE V8 FixPak 14 o AIX . When we set up the connection to DB2 Mainframe. We just catalog node and DB directory without DCS. From what I know, DB2 conenct needs to set up node, dcs and db directories. Why DB2 CONNECT can connect to DB2 mainframe without the DCS?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
