Does anyone have the logic to convert RTF formatted data in a text
column into plain ascii text that I can use in a varchar variable or
field?
We have an app that allows formatted comments/notes to be stored in a
SQL 2000 text column. Ideally, I would like a trigger that would copy
any inserted comments into a seperate table, varchar field so that
these are viewable in other apps that can not display formatted RTF.
I would really...

Hi guys,
In my DataGrid I have a column that displays decimal values as currency ( I
set the Data Formatting expression of that column to {0:C}). So the actual
string displayed in the grid looks like $2,295.99.
For each row I need to do some additional calculations based on this value,
so I need to convert it back to decimal type. But I cannot find a way to get
rid of the currency formatting and revert the value back to decimal. I tried...

Hi,
I have a large table in Word 2003 that has formatted text in the cells and
wish to read and convert a cells formatted contents to html output via
vb.net code. The formatting contains the following: bold text, italic text,
superscript & subscript text, bullet points. The output html is then saved
in an XML file as a CDATA section for later use in the application when
formatted output is required.
I have looked up many sites on the...

Hi all,
Working on a pretty fancy access report that prints out a schedule of events in a two-column format, I've stumbled across the need for displaying formatted text into a field. Since I'm using Access 2000, it lacks the ability to do this natively, so I was wondering if anyone had a solution.
I've made use of one of the controls of Lebans.com (TextWidthHeight one, rather spiffy), but it seems the RTF display controls there are for...

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
