Working with mobile applications in c# ( Hello World )

I am a starter to Working with mobile applications in c# ( Hello
World Program). As a prerequisite to that, i downloaded all the
softwares needed which are :

1.Microsoft ActiveSync
2. Microsoft Anywhere 10 (for creating database)

I get the error upon running or deploying the program :

Error: 1 Connect to device failed. Device Connectivity Component

Can anyone guide me on this topic, as to how i can work on mobile
applications. I installed the above two softwares. No idea how to
configure them!! Am i missing out some emulator or something to run
this.

Regards

Apple just threw a massive blow to the world of Windows Mobile or any Mobile Hardware/OS company with the launch of iPhone2.0 and the developer SDK. Apple and Jobs have done what Gates did to the world of PCs. Back in the 90s when the desktop OS wars were going on, Microsoft was more open to third-party developers than they have been with their Mobile OS. This is the exact tactic Apple and Steve Jobs have used for ensuring the success of the...

I am reading some stuff in self paced course 728 about mobile applications. But the first thing that comes into my mind is, why do I need to build special server side code, if the browser happens to be a mobile device? Cannot mobile browsers access normal websites? Should I copy almost a whole server side application/website to a mobile device website, and double maintain all changes in my web applications if I want to reach both mobile...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
