Space in mobile:list control trimed

Hi,

Has anyone experienced this problem?

I am using the mobile:List control to list my data. My problem is how to
allow 2 or more spaces allowed between each word?
For example:
I have a list control called list1, then I add an item,
list1.Add.Items .Add("Hello World!")
The result I will see from my device or IE browser will display "Hello
World!" only. The spaces are trimed. How to avoid this?

I would appreciate your help...

Hi, Did somebody play with SelectionList Control - Mobile Web Forms ? I found a problem with this control if it runs in a DropDown list mode. First of all the Selected item sometime is 0, sometimes is -1 when I skip a selection moving to a next page. So it returns me a wrong selection when I don't want to do a selection. Second problem - SelectedIndexChanged() event doesn't work if this type is

I'm trying to override the SHIFT-SPACE "negative feature" in the Winforms datagrid, to only be a space. The following link describes this: http://www.dotnet247.com/247reference/msgs/52/262224.aspx In this procedure, MS suggested to use SendKeys.Send(" "), but I am finding that this locks my machine, and SendWait() causes an infinite loop of messages (stack overflow). How to convert a SHIFT-SPACE message to be just a SPACE? Below is...

Hi all, I have an asp.net 1.1 web app that uses mobile controls and forms authentication. I recently added a "remember me" functionality, allowing the user to stay logged into the site between browser sessions (the login page makes use of the RedirectFromLoginPage method). In doing so, I am getting an intermittent error: "The page requires session state that is no longer available. Either the session has expired, the client did not...

Is anyone familiar with an ASP.NET control (third party or not) that provides capabilities similar to the ObjectList control found in the ASP.NET 1.1 mobile toolkit. I basically want the same capabilities, but through a normal web form, not a mobile form. That ObjectList control is very convenient for flipping between a list view/detail view of data of bound data.

Apple just threw a massive blow to the world of Windows Mobile or any Mobile Hardware/OS company with the launch of iPhone2.0 and the developer SDK. Apple and Jobs have done what Gates did to the world of PCs. Back in the 90s when the desktop OS wars were going on, Microsoft was more open to third-party developers than they have been with their Mobile OS. This is the exact tactic Apple and Steve Jobs have used for ensuring the success of the...

I saw a MS demo a few years back where they developed a web page and the software automatically rendered it for different devices. Is this what I'm looking for? http://www.asp.net/mobile/ Much of the info looks old. I have a MSDN account where can I download it or is it already in VS 2008 and I just don't know how to find it? I'm mainly interested in having simple pages render in Internet Explorer

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
