I have an MDI Parent form with a toolstrip and menustrip. The
menustrip is always the top most. Both are Docked to Top. I
contemplated using a toolstripcontainer but then removed it. I had to
redock my toolstrip and menustrip. Now the toolstrip is always top
most. I added a new MDI Parent form and can't find any differences.
How do I...

The default ToolStrip apparently renders an MS Office Style ToolStrip when the RenderMode is other
than "System". When using a BackgroundImage in the ToolStrip, this Office Style border has rounded
corners and looks like hell.
According to the Help file:

After I've added the menustrip and the toolstrip to my MDI windows Form (and
I've added their respective items), I notice that the items disappear.
They're still in the code, but the association between the bar and the items
(i.e. toolStrip.Items.AddRange) disappears. How come? This is happening
frequently. After I fix it, it erases it again....

Hello everybody.
I want to do a MdiChilds bar. Like the Windows Task Bar. It is
possible in a MenuStrip item with the property:
Me.MenuStrip.MdiWindowListItem = MenuItem
I want same functionality on a ToolStrip.
Any idea?

Hello,
Can anyone tell me if its possible to create one menustrip, toolstrip, and
one statusstrip and attached to three to four forms? I just don't want to
recreate the strips for every form. Is this possible and how. I am using
Visual Basic.Net 2008. Any tips or webstite to visit I will appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Cheers

I am making one form by hand (without vs 2005).
i am positioning the menustrip above the toolstrip but still bue to some reason the menu strip is below it.
I inseted breakpoint and when the code goes through this
the data is
MainMenu.Location = {X = 0 Y = 25}
OneToolStrip.Location = {X = 0 Y = 0}
why is this happening ?

Hi guys,
Just a quick question which i am fairly stumped with. I have had a look around, but it seems to be so simple there hasn't been many problems with it from other people.
My issue is that i have a toolstrip and a datagridview and the datagridview isnt finding the toolstrip above it, and when it is doing a fill dock it is cutting a part...

Ok, I have a menuStrip and a toolStrip. the menuStrip is laid out like this:
Actions
Connect
Disconnect
-
Exit
Pretty simple. The toolstrip has 1 item, a toolstripstatus. I decided I wanted to add a little icon next to the status text, so I opened up the image property in Design mode and imported 2 images. Both were PNG...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
