Anybody know MSNFTP protocol?

I am doing a file transfer function in my component. But I don't know
where I ought to send "VER MSNFTP" to.

Hello, I'm having a problem with sending data with sockets over a dial-up connection. When I use the send function, it will happily send a buffer of a megabyte and more in one shot. But of course, the data is still in the network buffer... Meaning you can't disconnect for awhile (but for how long...). The problem is, how can I know when it's done? Is there a way to be notified when the data has truly been sent? I tried using...

Hello, I am trying to use cx_bsdiff (http://starship.python.net/crew/atuining/cx_bsdiff/index.html) to to make a diff and patch some files. It appears that I can make the diff, but when I apply the patch, the result is not the same. As far as I understand the documentation, I am using this correctly. Can anyone help me find what is wrong in the code below?

Hi, Simple question (although I guess with a complicated answer). Is HTTP an async protocol? For instance, if I send a message to a c# webservice via http what is the protocol actually doing? Thanks in advance Steffan

Hi guys. I hope I can discuss Twisted here. If not, direct me to the correct place please. My question(s): I'm working on a custom network protocol (application layer in TCP/IP model) for a custom network. Please don't try to talk me out of this. I'm limiting many of the other protocols, because this is in a highly secure network, and latency/bandwidth is key. The packet sizes are minimized by the protocol design, which is ideal. ...

Hi, First off, I am aware that this is a very heavily documented error and I have done my homework for throughly researching probable causes before deciding to post my problem here. At this point, I believe another set of eyes on the issue is merited. I am a MSSQL DBA and somewhat new to ORACLE; but I have read the administrators manual having a basic thorough level of knowledge (Tho' I am still learning) and understanding of how to...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
