How about "browse for folder" dialog? Can html/javascript do that? I
couldn't find any syntax for that. If not, please advise what are the
other approaches.

I have many forms in an MDI application. Sometimes I show FORMA just by
a f.Show, other times it is f.ShowDialog. How can I tell within the form
code whether this form is shown via Show or ShowDialog???
TIA

Hello;
I have (tried) to change my geocities
site to be "styled" not "tabled".
It's certainly made the HTML nicer.
But it doesn't work as nicely
I'd like.
And it almost doesn't work at all under IE.

Hello,
I use a datalist to display the results of a search in a database of
wines. One of the fields contains a full decsription of the wines.
When a visitor makes a search, the results are displayed in a datalist.
By default, I do not display the full description of the wines but this
should be possible by clicking on a "View details" link.
I am looking for a javascript to "hide/show" a panel with the optional
field.
I remember that...

I have created a form that uses linked combo boxes to filter the
results. When the filter runs, all of the text boxes in the form
become populated with "#Name?". The record counter at the bottom
indicates that the correct number of records were filtered, but I can
not see any of the data.
Why and how do I fix this?
thanks,

I'm trying to add a hyperlink field to my DB, and I've implemented the
hiding of menus for "fake" security.
Well, I found a sort-of work around. "Control-K". While the submenu
and menu are hidden, the Control-K functionality is still there.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
