Im trying to make a graph display that will show as an oscilloscope shows
with the wavy lines?
Are there methods or simple ways to convert say, byte wide or 16 bit data
chunks into such a graphic readout?
National Instruments and Matlab use such displays, but is that kind of thing
either public domain or simple to write?
Ive got a trial version of LabWindows that might have an Ax or dll? to use

Hi,
I am embedding various things into a Microsoft Word document. I want to
embed and automate a chart control. I can embed an Excel.Chart.8 into my
Word document manually (no problemo), but I cannot find this control on the
"Add/Remove Components..." dialog in the VB.NET editor. What I want to do
is use automation to create an Excel.Chart.8, then using the reference
returned, build a graph from my VB.NET program. What do I cast it...

Hi,
A friend of mine is in the process of building a 3d game engine using
native DirectX in C++. I would like to contribute to the development of
an editor for this engine, but I would prefer to develop it in C#. We've
discussed the possibility of creating a COM-based interface to the
engine that the editor could use from C#, and I think that would work
well for most tasks.
However, I'm not quite sure how I would go about developing a...

Hello all,
I have some C# code that implements calls to DirectX.DirectSound. It
compiles under both VS .NET 2003 and VS 2005 and runs under VS .NET 2003
and VS 2005 on a Compaq laptop (Windows XP Home), a Dell Xeon
workstation (Windows XP Pro) and a Gateway GM 825 (Windows XP Media
Center). It also runs on the Dell and the Compaq under VS 2005, but
when I attempt to run the code under VS 2005 on the Gateway (Windows XP
MCE), I get...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
