Hi,
Does anyone have an idea if MS will support MMC snap-in development in
the managed env in VS2005( proper development and not the COM interop
solution )? whatever preview of VS 2005 that is available on the MS
site does not mention anything whether they'll support this.

My main concern is installing VS2005 B2 on the XP Pro machine where VSN2003
already exists.

8.0.50712.6 lab23df .050712-0600), the VS2005 IDE crashes without warning.

Latest Windows Update broke my VS2005 Beta. I cannot uninstall, repair,
etc. I am ready to buy a licence but in Italy it isn't available yet. I
am ready to install a 90day trial but the download is not available
too.
How can I go on with my projects? Is, the version after Beta 2, affect

Hi guys
I have a problem. I'm having a lot of problems with the "very known bug" of
Visual C# deleting bits of code when you fast-switch between designer and
code. It keeps deleting my entire OnInit(), which for a wizard-like page,
contains quite a lot of code!
I've spoken to various MVP leads on this issue, and the best solution they
can come up with is "dont use Designer", which isn't really very helpful, is

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
