Hi,
I'm trying to connect using PHP5 to a web service created with the MS SOAP
Toolkit3 that supports DIME attachments. PHP fails connecting to the service,
for example:
<?php
$wsdl = 'http://mssoapinterop.org/stkV3/dime/dime-rpc.wsdl';
$webservice = new SoapClient($wsdl);
?>

Hi!
I am trying SOAP with DIME attachments in web services. For example
say, I have a file resume.pdf stored somewhere on my server. How does
the web service send the file to the client, so that the client can
store it and also read from it. I am trying out with C# and ASP.NET.

Using the .NET framework and WSE 1.0 SP1, I have built a web service
which receives data from a web service client and saves it to disk in a
text file, and it works with no problem. However, when I modify the web
service to accept an attachment and save it to disk as well (resulting
in 2 files saved - txt file and attachment) then any special characters
in the text file (such as the N~ combination used in Spanish) appear as

Trying to download a .wav file from a Java Axis web service that is using DIME.
Unfortunately, the returned data is not properly formed so cannot use WSE
with Dime handling to read the data.
Used chain stream and process message to get the stream at
BeforeDeserialize. Can then delineate the .wav part from the incoming stream
by locating the start and end of the data.
Using following to save the data to file:

I have a situation where a webservice has worked fine in a development
environment, but when placed into production has stopped working
(although at one time it was).
Using WSE 2.0/DIME, we wrote a simple File Transfer and retrieval
service, which has to pass through a firewall (the only real difference
between dev and production -- at the time).
Originally, the error was this:

Hi.
I use WSE 2.0 to call a web service method which returns some attachments together with the response.
The web service can send it's attachments using either MIME format(widely used in the java world, which has no support in .net) or DIME(a Microsoft standard supported in WSE 2.0).
In order for the web service to know which standard will be uses, any request to this method must contain the "Accept: application/dime" in the HTTP...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
