Hi All
I have some data string like ~!@#$%'^&(*("}[;asd"> which contains double
quote and greater then sign, first I need to insert this value into
database, second this inserted value I have display in a textbox by
retriving from database, as it has "> at end of the string values are
getting discarded. if any of you have worked or know how to solve this issue
pls help me.

There is a form (single form) and a combobox. I want that current record of
the form is adjusted according to selected value in the combobox. Cuurrent
record should be the same as the value in the combobox.
What is the solution?

hello,
new to vb.net, have a few questions about DataGrid. I have a dataGrid
that is working pulling a dataset back from a stored proc and binding
to the datagrid for display
the datagrid's first column is a textbox(TemplateColumn), the other 3
columns are just display(BoundColumn).
(1) if the value of the textbox is 0, then i'd like to change it null,
so the box is empty

In my code i use the text from a textbox and convert it to a double value.
I was using Convert.ToDouble() but i'm used to convert comma to dot.
This way i can assure the text is correct.
However it seems this convert is determined by the local settings and comma
is indeed used as decimal separator.
Is there another way to convert a dotted value to a double variable?
Like 1234.5 and not 1234,5
