Hi all,
I admittedly don't know the first thing about .NET. I have a new client who has been having problems on her website and asked me to look into it (she has lost contact with the programmer who originally did this work for her). I know some programming languages, but this is not one of them and I am hoping someone can help me.
My client has a real estate website and I get the following error (per her complaint) when I try and sign up...

Hey Folks,
Please forgive the complete ignorance, but I have a question regarding text
datatypes and table creation. Further, I am coming from a Linux
(Postgres/MySQL) and Microsoft (SQL Server/Access) environment and have not
run into this type of developmental/structural issue yet, so here goes:
I am attempting to create a knowledge base. One of the columns in the main
"notes" table has the purpose of storing textual data (such as a...

Please forgive this newbie question but java is new to me and I'm
still trying to find a course in my area.
I'm tweaking an online survey and have gotten it to display what I
want but can't figure out how to *require* the surveyee to pick a

For each of ten questions, the surveyee is asked:

I am new to Visual Web Developer 2005 Expres.
I am using absolute positioning and every time I add a button control to my
web form its width extends all the way to the edge of the page. IOW I get a
long skinny button that extends to the right side of the browser.
This does not appear to happen with other controls. Any idea why it happens
to the button?
Here is how the button looks in source code:

Apart from the syntax error Rob pointed out (use of "=" instead of "=="
as a comparison operator) the output you show makes it seem possible you
are entering the command "python main_test.py" at the Python interpreter

Python statements and expressions there.
"python" is an operating system command, so you want to enter "python

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
