From the looks of things on this site there are a bunch of questons and very few answers...but, hopefully this is an easy one to answer.

Another suggestion.... dump VB script/ASP and go with Java.

I am new to Visual Web Developer 2005 Expres.
I am using absolute positioning and every time I add a button control to my
web form its width extends all the way to the edge of the page. IOW I get a
long skinny button that extends to the right side of the browser.
This does not appear to happen with other controls. Any idea why it happens
to the button?

I am learning PHP5. I need to obtain my website's root directory in .php
code. I tried the code:
echo __DIR__, $_SERVER;
but it displays:
__DIR__/var/www/html
although my_website is installed in user's
directory: /home/robert/public_html/my_website.
I don't know why and how to obtain root directory.
Please help.
