Hi,
I want to have confirmation(Yes/No) on a button of the webform in which
there are many validation controls. I want all the validation controls to be
triggered first and then Yes/No confirmation message. By adding just an
confirm attribute for 'onclick' event of the button doesn't work with
validation controls. Is there any short way to go around this.

I'm trying to have a form where a user has to enter a valid email address, and
I'm trying to use the RegEx Validation control to do that. The problem is that
when a user submits the form with a blank line, it is ACCEPTED even though it
does not pass the pattern match in the expression.
Another problem is that if there are leading spaces or trailing in a valid email
address, the expression fails.

Validation control is bound to a listbox but the "*" is not showing during an
error. The text property is set to "*" and the error message is being
displayed in the Summary Control. All of the other controls are working as
expected just the listboxes are doing this.
Is this a bug or undocumented behavior and how can it be fixed?
Using .Net framework 1.1.

I setup some standard Required Field Validation controls and one Custom
validation control on an ASP.NET page (within a user control) to validate
text entry. I also setup a Summary Control to post all the messages to a
message box (ShowMessageBox=true). The required field validation error
messages show up in the summary just fine but I can't get the custom
validation message to show up if invalid.

Hi,
I have a page with 4 web user controls on.
Each of these web user controls has some asp.net controls on that have
validation events attached to them.
Now because there are 4 seperate users controls I have 4 seperate validation
summaries, what I would like is to have only a single validation summary at
the top of the page, ie not in any user controls.

Hello -
If I use a validation summary control and set the ShowMessageBox to true,
will the messagebox that comes up be blocked by pop-up blockers?
Does the messagebox work in all browsers or just IE?

if i have an exception error bubbling up from the business layer is there
anyway i can connect that to the validation summary control to display the
message. i ask because i'd like to take advantage of the ShowMessageBox
feature it has.

I want to control the color of my validation control with css. There will be
a high visability stylesheet where the background is black and the text is
yellow. When I remove the color it defaults to red (inserting a css style
color:red). Is there any way I can override the color with a cssclass rather
than have to set the color of the validation depending on what stylesheet is

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
