When I create a folder in outlook and give it a homepage url to an
ajax
asp.net page I've developed, I get ajax errors on my page when viewed
in
outlook. The Error is : "Access is denied".
I don't get this error when viewing the page directely in IE.
Thank you

Outlook has a much more restricted security configuration for Internet
Explorer than the OS. It is the JavaScript in your page that is being denied
run privileges.

Thank you for your answer,
Can you inform me how I can personalize the security level of my site
in Outlook so that it can execute Ajax Javascript code?
Thanks in advance,
Noro
I don't believe this is possible as this is a safeguard within outlook and
it's built-in browsing engine and not something a web developer can code. If
we could code such features, any mailicious web site could just use this
code to make their web site deemed safe. This is why you see most emails
come in as basically a static web page, advanced features are just not
available and users should be redirected from the email to view the site in
their browser.
Hope this helps,

Hi,
I have a password-protected area on my site. I'm not using any server
authentication methods: Instead I prompt the user for a username and
password using an HTML form and check these against a database of
registered users.
I was thinking that this page should be returning a HTTP status code of
"401 Unauthorized" instead of its current "200 OK". My reasoning being
that this would let search engines know what's going on when they

Hi there,
I have this problem which is really driving me nuts for a couple of
days. Glad if any help or suggestion is given
Javascript will give me a pop-up error "Access is denied" when i try to
load a simple xml file, which is in the server machine itself. The
script is within a JSP page running apache tom-cat. I am running it with
IE6 from an windows administrative acc straight on the server so there
shouldn't be any access prob.

Helolo,
I have an ASP.NET application on a Windows 2003 Server machine WITHOUT VS.
I am working on an XPPro machine with VS 2003. I have installed the remote
debugging components on the server. Aside from having administrative
rights, I have also put myself in the Debugger Users group. I have added
ASPNET and even IUSR_SERVERNAME to the Debuggers group (don't worry, it's a
dev server not a live machine) and I still get "Access Denied"...

I'm getting the error
"HTTP Error 403.1 - Forbidden: Execute access is denied" when I try to reach

Before I go giving Windows permissions to my docroot, etc., I want to
understand what users or, preferably, groups, need to have what permissions
for basic operation of ASP.NET 2.0.
And specifically WHAT permissions should I give these users?

Hi,
I have a form with unbound fields on it. The user selects a record
from a recordset and I populate the unbound fields. When I try to
change the unbound quantity text box, Access 2003 tells me "The data
has been changed. Another user edited this record and saved the
changes before you attempted to save your changes. Re-edit the
record."
This does not always happen. And yes, I can re-edit the quantity text

Hi,
All of a sudden one of our clients can't use her application. She
gets "You don't have exclusive access to your database at this time"
when trying to open our application.
The only thing she did today, according to her, was to download and
install an Avery label wizard.
She has rebooted and there are no other versions of Access running.

Anybody know how to prevent the annoying Access 2007 "Getting Started

DoCmd.Quit? My database is used in a terminal server environment and I
need to be able to prevent users from creating new databases or
opening existing ones using that page.
Thanks!

Hello,
If I loop through all the processes on my machine, for some processes
I get "Access Denied" when trying to read the file name associated
with the process. Also some other properties are not visible.
Why is this and how can I get around this? If I cannot get around it,
how can I get a process associated with a certain file name? To be
more specific I need the prcoess ID. The process name is not unique so
I think I have to use...

I am new to Access and I'm having trouble with a database someone else created. I am wondring why I am not being able to insert more than 255 characters to a memo field in Access 2003.
We need a field in our database to allow us to enter a short summary of the job we are referencing. I can format the "data type" of the entry to be a "memo" which I thought should give me plenty of space to get the summary in. I can set the field to "memo"...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
