I don't see a managed newsgroup for just AJAX, so hopefully this is the best
place to ask this question.
Is there a sure-fire way to deploy an ASP.NET AJAX-Enabled web site to a web
host who refuses to install AJAX 1.0?
How come just copying the System.Web.Extension .DLLs to the application's
BIN diectory would work. I also copied the
v1.0.61025\MicrosoftAjaxLibrary\System.Web.Extensions\1.0.61025.0 Javacript

Which should I use:
1. "ASP.NET AJAX-Enabled Web Site" or
2. "AJAX Control Toolkit Web Site"?
In the first, controls from the control toolkit start as:
<cc1:SomeControl></cc1>
In the 2nd, those controls are: <ajaxToolkit:SomeControl></
ajaxToolkit>

I just want to know that I have already a web application. I want to
use ajax in one of my web forms.

Enabled Site
and then copy my all the web forms and datasets from my existing web
application to this new AJAX application to be able to use AJAX.
I am wondering if there is any other way to use...

Hello,
my problem is, that if i create a new website with Visual Studio 2005
and I choose "AJAX enabled Website" everything works fine.
But if I try to do the same with an existing Website (AJAX Extesions
where installed later) the "AJAX"-functionality fails.
Though I have the AJAX Extensions in my Tool-Box and everything seems
ok it doesn`t work. I can drag and drop ScriptManager, UpdatePanels,
ContentTemplates ... but when I run the...

I just instaled AJAX framework. I can use it if I chose AJAX enabled
aplication when I am creating new project.
But I have some web aplication with no AJAX and I need to include it. It is
not project, it is asp.net website. There is no .sln file or other visual
studio project files. I started this web by chosing "New web site", not "New
project". How can I include AJAX into this web?
Thanks

This is my first try at using AJAX. I want the calendars to be enabled if
the user checks CheckBox1. It works OK for a normal all page refresh but
once I introduced the AJAX code it stopped working. Any ideas?
<%@ Page Language="VB" AutoEventWireup="false"
CodeFile="default-ajax.aspx.vb" Inherits="pages_verify_groups_Default"
Debug="true" %>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
