I'm writing an XMLRPC server, which is receiving a request (from a
non-Python client) that looks like this (formatted for legibility):
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<methodCall>
<methodName>echo</methodName>
<params>
<param>
<value>

Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble using Xerces2(2.4, 2.5) when validating against an
XML schema if a general entity reference is defined within the XML
file.
The error I'm getting is this: "org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Element
type "personnel" must be declared."
Xerces1(1.4.3, 1.4.4) doesn't have an issue with this. As is XML Spy.

Hi There,
Can someone please tell me why the XML spec states that an attribute
value with an external entity is forbidden? Or point me to the
appropriate document? Or better still, perhaps you know of a work
around?
It is a little frustrating that the normally powerful external
entities are limited in this fashion.
Example (myextent.txt contains just one word without a CR):

We are calling a web service running in IIS 6.0 (Windows 2003 Server)
When we call a web service method to send a large xml document (2Mb) obtain
an http error 413 (entity too large)
We have increase the web service reception size limit to 10Mb and still fails.
Is there any limitation in the size of an xml document? Any idea?
Thanks in advance.

Ubuntu Drake comes with or allows you to install something called "entity"
which sounds like it ought to be the world's ultimate Python GUI tool.
Nonetheless all I can get it to do looks like this:
Usage: entity
-V Print version and exit.
-g Turn on debug messages. Accepts domain as argument, or 'all'
-a Load all files on command line into Entity.
-m Generate module config files.
-l ...

When .NET loads an app.config at runtime (myapp.exe.config), will it
honor an entity declaration? Based on what I am seeing, the answer is
no, but I think, or hope, that I am doing something wrong.
I tried this:
// myapp.exe.config
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<!DOCTYPE configuration >

I wanted to try out the ado.net entity framework model and see how it was
different from linq to sql entities. I put a page in a web application
project, added an ado.net entity model and told it to generate the model
from existing database, went back to my empty page and put a GridView on it.
I right clicked on the GridView and went to show smart tag. I went to choose
a datasource combo box and pressed down arrow once (to create a new...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
