dotNet website for Blackberry / handheld devices

Hi,

I'm about to embark on a .NET project targetted at mobile devices, so
I'm curious if anyone has any tips or potential traps, specifically
with a Blackberry.

I've never used one but I've been told that their could be potential
rendering problems, especially with .NET controls. Is there any truth
to this?

Cheers,

B.

In a discussion between AJ Flavel and Spartanicus, The later said. "Layouts that work well on the desktop and on small screen devices are single column layouts. Layouts that use more than one column rarely work properly on a wide range of viewport widths. This also applies to "css" layouts that use separate "screen" and "handheld" stylesheets due to the poor support for the handheld media type and it's intrinsic limitations. The same...

We have an API that has an XML interface. We have a client who has a .NET application and wants to use our API. Why will SOAP make life easier for our client? It seems to me that .NET to XML should be easy enough, but they're saying they want SOAP interface. thanks. c

It is developed using jsp technologies. What we were asked is to enable the website in a blackberry device (e.g. small browser).

I have an old blackberry 8700c, I want to create a home screen icon that takes me directly to the SMS Inbox folder, or to a specific folder from my exchange mailbox, how do I do that? I found out that pressing alt with the wheel lets me move or delete an existing icon from the homescreen, but how do I add an entirely new one ? http://www.cebst.com/blackberry+8700c.jpg That's what it look like: http://www.cebst.com/blackberry+8700c.jpg

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
