Preview my webpages in handheld browsers?

Hi,

Is there anything online or downloadable that will allow me to preview
my webpages on handheld devices such as PDA's and xhtml/wap2 mobile
phones? Some kind of emulator service. I would really just like to be
able to preview web pages in various devices.

Cheers

The Opera web browser does have a rendering mode which emulates that sort
of thing. Considering that Opera also makes a browser for phones, I might
guess it does behave in a similar fashion.

You get a simplified rendition of the page, linearised, and with small
fonts. Give it a try.

I'm not sure the default resolution is for those devices but you might
want to check this page:

I open my pages in a small browser window (c.150px bu 200px) just to test -
but the best way is to buy a PDA and view through the bundled browser.
Quite expensive though. W3C do have suggestions so check out the website.
Good luck

I am developing a web site, and I want to make sure that it works o.k on a range of platforms eg, Netscape 4.X -> Mozilla, I.E 4-I.E6, Opera etc. The trouble is that I don't really want to have to install 10 different browsers on my laptop ( certainly if I have to uninstall/reinstall one after another ). Also, I can't test I.E on Mac, neither can I test Netscape/I.E on Unix as I am only using Windows.

Is there a way for my website to redirect handheld and mobile browsers to another set of pages that are optimized for mobile/tiny browsers? I've seen this done but I couldn't find any sign of a redirect in the html. I've looked for information about this in usenet archives, but to no avail. Thanks very much for any help in advance!

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
