What do you mean by client ?
When you 'Import' , you import 'FROM' not 'to a website', so I am confused
here as well.
Convert to 'HTML' from What ?

It is going to be impossible to help you unless you are very precise about
what you are trying to do.

Hello, I just switched from 2.2 to Python 2.3. I am developing an XML/CGI interface to databases as a python package called "unitWrapper" containing several modules which ran fine under v2.2. Running Python2.3 under windows2000 I get import errors when a module imports another module of the same package with absolute package-names like this:

Hi. I'm a new user of Python but I have noted a little problem. Python is a very good language but it is evolving, in particular its library is evolving. This can be a problem when, ad example, a module change its interface or its implementation in a fundamental way (an example: wxPython). This, I think, can be resolved by allowing an user to explicitly say what version of a module it wants (sush as version numbers in Linux shared...

When the @import rule is used in the html markup to hide advanced css from older browsers, is that css downloaded with every page from a site? (which would be redundant) Or is it different if you link to, say, simple.css, which then "@imports" advanced.css? How can I reduce the bandwidth load (i.e. client get the css from the client cache) or is it not an option with @import?

I admit that I am a novice when it comes to the HTML DOM and JavaScript. Basically, here is what I want to do: 1. Import some HTML from a remote web site 2. Parse the HTML to locate a specific tag based on font weight and font size 3. Check the text in that tag to see if it matches a specified string Does anyone have any ideas?

Folks: We have a web-based app that's _really_ slowing down because multiple clients are writing their own private data into a single, central database. I guess the previous programmer did things this way because it made things easy. Well, I'm the person that has to put up with the long-term headache. Anywho, someone at work wants things sped up, so what I'm looking at doing is this for each client:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
