I would very much appreciate hearing from someone who has successfully implemented an ASP.NET website using WebMatrix and DotNetNuke
or using one of the 3rd. party tools for web-site generation where the site has currently working shopping cart and on-line payment
processing.
I am an advanced c# programmer, but am concerned that building a site based on DotNetNuke, etc. may be risky to do for a client. To
my mind there is a certain...

I have an existing asp.net web application which contains several user
controls. Some of these user controls contain other user controls (generic
controls) which are located in a subdirectory. Now I am creating dotnetnuke
modules from each user control and am not sure how to deal with the generic
controls.
Ideally, I want to create a project housing these controls and then
reference it from the other modules, but am not sure how to do...

The NYPC Visual Basic SIG is pleased to be presenting Nik Kalyani of

DotNetNuke a few times already (www.dotnetnuke.com). It's open source

Hello,
I have installed .NET on my Windows XP and I would like to install
DotNetNuke 4.0.3. I unzipped DotNetNuke_4.0.3_Install.zip to the folder
E:\Program Files\DotNetNuke and (according to instructions) I modified
web.config and I created DotNetNuke database in SQL Server 2005.
Unfortunatelly when I entered in a browser
http://localhost/DotNetNuke/
I receive the following screen:
DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

I'm very new to DotNetNuke and asp.net, and having several major

I'm using DotNetNuke 04.05.03 and asp.net 2.0
I have two databases set up: DotNetNuke (which I installed myself
using the book "Professional Dot Net Nuke 4" as a guide) and DNN
(which I downloaded from the company I work for so it already had some

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
