Hi,
I have a website which is made up of dynamic pages. Each page that's loaded
has some code which looks at which template to load amongst other things,
which causes the page to take a little while to be processed. At the moment
I have programmatic page caching in the "loader" using paramater caching to
send a cached version of every requested page back to the user.
How can I get particular elements inside each page to cache without...

Hi,
(ASP.Net 1.1) is it possible to (programmatically and globally)
deactivate page fragment caching? We have only two scenarios,
development stage where we want caching off and testing where we want
caching on. Is this doable? I think there is a config switch in 2.0,
anything in 1.1?
TIA for any hint,

Dear all,
I have heard and read that fragment caching is used to cache a part of a web
page in order to get remaining items vivible on the page.
For example if a database querry is quite long, we create a web user control
and cache that control. Which will means that during the querry process
remaining page control will be visible while the querry gets executed.
Then what happen if let say the querry takes more than 1 minutes to return...

Hi,
I'm working on a site where the user must log in before they see the
home page.
When the user logs in, I retrieve their role from the database, store
it in a Session object and redirect to the homepage. The home page
contains a navigation menu (user control) which displays links
available to the user based on their role. The navigation menu/links
are generated from the database.

Hi all,
Have a strange situation regarding fragment caching. I've read the docs and
kbs on this so it's either I've missed some key aspect of the implementation
or there is a "gotcha" here that isn't described in these resources
(kb/docs).

Hi,
I know fragment caching where you can use a cached user control in a
non-cached page (or the opposite)
But without using a user control, how can I cache just a part of my
page (two datatables) but not the rest of the page ?

Hi,
We are writing an application in asp.net 2.0.
We have used menu control and made it a usercontrol. I have Partial cached the user control.
After caching the user control, this is being used in a Master Page.
Everything was working fine without caching but after caching the control, it is throwing null referance errors randomly.

Hello,
I've created a user control with fragment caching:
<%@ OutputCache Duration="43200" VaryByParam="none" %>
<% =now() %>
In my local environment (PC with Visual Webdeveloper 2005) the caching
of the control doesn't work because the displayed time is updated each
time I refresh the page.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
