I've been setting font-size 1em; as the default in my style
sheets. Until now, that seemed to be ok. But now I'm beginning to
wonder.
My aim is to have an easily readable, but not overly large text when
the user uses the default font size in his browser and uses the
typical display resolution.
I did a reinstall of my friendly browser in...

Is there a way to determine what a user's default email client is? I
read a post from 3 years ago that said no. I guess I'm hoping
something has come along since then.

Hi.
I know that I can change the default web browser for a single page,
but is there any way to change the default web browser for the whole
site? When I press the F5 key, I need to run my site in Netscape. Is
it possible?
Thanks,
Robert Scheer

I have been having problems with IE 6 so I am temperarily using Mozilla.
Does anyone know how to change the default browser that .NET studio opens
when you are testing/compiling a project?
I can't figure this out. I set Mozilla to my default browser in XP's
control panel but vs.net still opens IE.
Thanks

I need to be able to get the path to the users default browser from within my application.
I am in a situation where I can't easily use System.Diagnostics.Process.Start to start
their browser with the URL I want and I must resort to using "Shell". Of course, shell
wants to know where the browser is and now you can see my dilemma!
Thanks...

Hi,
As far as I know, normally popup windows open in the default browser.
Is there a way to make popups open in a specific browser (in my case
Internet Explorer) when the default browser is a different one?
Thanks,
Raffi

This browser seems to have so many problems. One more: I try to have
this Fire browser (version 2.0.0.1) as Not default, but so far, without
success. How can I have this browser as not default browser?. What are
the steps to do this?. Do I have to delete it from the hard drive and
then re-install it?. I'd like to have the chance to use other...

Hi All:
Here's what may be a confusing question. I have an application which
has a basic help window that is attached to a Windows application. It
uses IE objects to render html text. The user isn't aware that the
basic help window is an IE window since it has no controls on it.
Within that window, however, are links to "advanced help"...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
