Error debugging remote web server "Duplicate name exists on the network"

Hi

Microsoft need to reopen this bug...

http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/produc...4-984923f20999

Visual Studio 2005 Pro (final) has this bug. Suggested workaround works
(adding an entry in the hosts file) but this is an annoyance and
Microsoft needs to confirm it is developing a fix for this. It appears
they keep closing the bug (twice now) when they see the workaround.

They say a fix has been checked in (see above URL), but what they
actually mean is they have suggested two time consuming work arounds
every time a new project is started.

Will microsoft fix this bug in the form of a hotfix?

Thanks

Alex

Hi, I use "defined $r_libs->{$name}" to check first if a key exists in a hash table. But Perl gives a warning WHENEVER the key exists: "Use of uninitialized value". Would u please help to check the script, and let me know the reason? Thanks in advance. Liang

We just discovered another IE bug. When an html form contains an element with a name of `name` IE's internal index screws up the .name property of the containing form to point to the bad element object instead of containing the string name property of the form. Here is the simplified test case: <html>

(Please CC me on any replies as I'm not on the list) Hi, After a recent power failure, a program that uses a pgsql backend (netdisco) started to send me nastygrams. I tried the author's suggestion of running a VACUUM FULL ANALYZE VERBOSE;, but it still sends me the messages. The data in the database isn't too important, i.e. I'm willing to blow away data to try to fix the problem. Any suggestions?

I have two identical databases running on two separate servers. I want to add a column to the following table: classified_cats { acid , name , parent } Running ALTER TABLE `classified_cats` ADD `is_active` TINYINT( 1 ) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL ; on server A works fine, so I know the SQL is correct. Running the same query on server B results in the following error:

I successfully use "My.Computer.Network.DownloadFile", including the authentication data, but I would appreciate learning how to first test whether the file exists on the remote computer. Thanks. - Pete

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
