Hey folks -
I'm a newbie to java script. I'm trying to make a portable data-validator
for fields in an HTML form.
Ideally, it would work something like this:
<input type="text" name="test" onBlur=check_data(this.value, "date")>
The script would check the data against its data type (date, number, text)

I'm checking for required fields, and using the code below, which I normally
have no difficulties with; however, as a twist I decided to return the focus
back to the specific field(s) in question for input.
Under the "Case vbYes" I indicated the two required fields to return the
focus, based on which one is empty, however, I cannot seem to return the
focus. If I only have one field indicated in the code, example;
If Me.txtUDateStart =...

I am pretty good with Access, but do not understand VBA. I have
researched this topic and see only VBA answers, so I hope someone can
help with my specific question.
I have 2 fields for an end-user that must be filled in. I want an error
message for each field. The forms are already partially filled in, and
a user needs to select which record to go to. There are fields for them
to fill in their initials and date , along with
other...

There seems to be way too much confusion over how to set focus on the a field using a field validator. I looked all over the web and found people trying to do this, but not getting anywhere. There are a couple of people selling components... but that is not really an option for me... So, I took the plunge and modified the "WebUIValidation.js" file to make it happen... After tracing through file, I figure it out. It was actually pretty...

Dear Group
It says in MSDN that a field can be associated with more than one
validators but can one validator be associated with more than one
field? Or do I need a validator for each field? How does it work?
Using Handlers?
Thanks for your efforts!

Hi,
I have an ASP.Net web page . The page was working fine until I added a
required field field validator. My page has a link button which takes the
user to another page, a submit button which takes the values of the text
boxes & puts them into an SQL database.
After adding the required field validator, when I click any button, (be it
submit button ot link button or any other button), it shows the required
field validator's TEXT i.e...

Hello,
I have a form and two buttons on it. Button1 submits the data to a database
and RequiredFieldValidator is used to make sure all the required fields are
filled up, the second button has a completely different task it basically
turns on another panel and displays some data. The problem is each time
Button2 is pressed required field validator wants the required fields to be
filled up.
The question is:

Hi,
Could someone give me a quick review of how to use the required field
Validator? I'm completely at a loss, and MSDN does not help one bit. =/
Basically all I want done is to make sure that the user enters some
text into a field called "txbName" and when they click on the submit
button, if they have not entered anything into the field, a Required
Field Validator will say "Invalid Name".
Thanks,

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
