Image Zooming

Hi all,
I really am in desperate need of some code that can zoom in on an image. I
don't want to just make the whole image bigger, i want to have a box ( <p>
tag ) that is the zooming window... so the image is always the same size, the
box is always the same size, and only when the box is moved over the image,
the part of the image that is inside the box will get zoomed..

so it's like a lil magnifying glass that is being moved around the image
with the mouse and only zooming the part that is under the glass...

please please please help if you can... thank you

Your best bet is to look for a clientside Java applet, or an ActiveX
control. You could also try looking for a Flash animation to do this. This
is probably your best bet since ActiveX controls are IE only and can be
blocked by security settings and new computers don't ship with a Java
Virtual Machine. Take a peek around Flashkit
(http://www.flashkit.com/index.shtml) as there may be something good there.
Keep in mind though that the zoom will probably be pretty pixelated because
you aren't loading a high-res image as a zoom, just zooming on a regular
image.

Hope this helps,

Hi All, I'm just getting started rewriting a small CAD/GIS like application for designating outlines of objects in photographs/images in Python. Is there a class out there that already handles panning and zooming along with lines that have been drawn on top of the object? If got a simple scrolling canvas working and user designation of objects with the mouse. But I'm wondering if there is an elegant solution that handles zooming too. ...

Hello, I have several images that need to be loaded dynamically based on user interaction. Each image size is about 6000x1500 pixels. I see several sites they make the image blur, blur, blur, and the image become clear. I want to know how to do this, or maybe you all have other solutions better than this. Can anyone give me some suggestions and the way how to implement? Thanks

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
