Hi - I posted this message in the microsoft.public.inetserver.iis group, as well. I hope someone can help. My client is frantic. Platform: Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition, latest MDAC 2.8 Trying to run this ASP.NET app. It has worked before. No code has changed so I'm convinced the problem is with some server settings.

Folks, I am unable to execute any ASPX files on a Windows 2000 Server, running as a Primary Domain Controller. The error is "Error BC31019: Unable to write to output file '<filename>'" By auditing access to the directory into which files are being written, I can confirm that the IUSR_<machineName> account is able to create the all the required sub-directories and files EXCEPT the DLL file. For example, trying to execute a simply ASPX...

Running DB2 v7 UDB ("DB2 v7.1.0.93", "n031208" and "WR21333") on Windows XP, I am unable to find out why the "Build for Debug" option within Stored Procedure Builder is not enabled on Java stored procedures. It is enabled for SQL stored procedures. It is possible to "Build" and "Run" the Java SPs, it just isn't possible to click on the "Build for Debug" option. Thanks for any help in advance. Michael

Question: Is it possible to use a char pointer array ( char *<name> ) to read an array of strings from a file in C? Given: code is written in ANSI C; I know the exact nature of the strings to be read (the file will be written by only this program); file can be either in text or binary (preferably binary as the files may be read repeatedly); the amount and size of strings in the array won't be known until run time (in the example I have it in...

Hi, I am trying to simply write the results of my grep etc to a file. According to what I read in books, I need to open the ouput file with ">" to overwrite or ">>" to append. And then use that filehandle in the print command open (IN , "$file") or die "unable to open file"; #Find the lines in the file containing word 'hardware' # while (<IN>) { if ($num < 30 ) { @hardware_line = grep (/hardware/, $_); print...

I am having problems using the file.create method within a function that is called when looping through an array of filepaths. If I call my function with a hardcoded file path --C:\Temp.txt the function creates the file as expected. When I loop through my array I get the error - "ArgumentException was unhandled - Illegal characters in path" The value "C:\Temp.txt" is the first value in the array - as it works

Jeff, Thanks for your reply. I would like to like the absolute path of a directory. I thought that os.listdir just returns the nam itself in a data list. I noticed that none was being return in my example. Do you think that I have the arguments misplaced? Thanks, Paul

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
