Dynamically Calling Web Refrences

Hi Guys,

I have lots of web refrences connecting to different sites and i need to be
able to dynamically call the web refrence based on output from a database.
At the moment i am doing the following;

//send execution command to the client to update the database
wrAmp.dbExecuto r dbe = new wrAmp.dbExecuto r();
bool barf = dbe.updateDatab ase();

Is there anyway i can can all do this dynamically ?
Thanks for all the help,

Josh

I found this awesome example of calling a Main Thread from a worker thread on abstractvb.com but I read through the example and would like to see if anyone can clarify some of this code below: Questions: 1. The Public Sub New proceedure. Is that just a proceedure named new or is there more to this? I went through the code and I do not see any refrences to 'New'

I have been able to add controls dyanmically to a windows application. And I can get the Click event working beautifully. But now I want to use an another event to change the state of the check box but I can seem to figure out how to work with the control. So in the code below I create a bunch of check boxes and I want the event called IFK_InputChange (where I have an external hardware device that I use as IFK, it works no problems) to...

Hi, I am writing a single .cs in IDE that uses some refrences that I have created previously as dll. I compile this refrences with /r switch in csc.exe with no problem. IntelliSense works with cs commands and syntaxes. But the problem is It doesn't know my own refrences and so doesn't show my class members. What can I do with with these? Please Help! Regards,

A SqlDataReader is populated with the records from a SQL Server 2005 DB table. The records retrieved depends upon 2 conditions (the conditions depend on what a user selects in an ASPX page). If condition1 is true, then the SqlDataReader will be populated with the records existing in table1 & will return 0 to the calling function but if condition2 is true, then the SqlDataReader will be populated with the records from another table named...

Hello clc, I have a buffer in a program which I write to. The buffer has write-only, unsigned-char-at-a-time access, and the amount of space required isn't known a priori. Therefore I want the buffer to dynamically grow using realloc(). A comment by Richard Heathfield in a thread here suggested that a good algorithm for this is to use realloc() to double the size of the buffer, but if realloc() fails request smaller size increments...

I've been led to believe by several articles, particularly Eric Gunnerson's C# Calling Code Dynamically, that calling a method dynamically through Reflection was much slower than through a Delegate. My testing showed that actually it was six times faster: 0.5 seconds for 100,000 iterations versus 3.1 seconds. Can anyone explain why? Something in the way I coded it? I'd appreciate any insights. Here's the code (in a Windows Form...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
